The Arizona Ubuntu Linux Local Community Team and the Phoenix Linux Users Group would like to help you get the most out of your computer. If you are tired of paying for an Operating System that gets slower as time goes by. If you are tired of an Operating System that gets Viruses, Trojan Horses, Spy Ware, and other Malware. If you want to get more life out of that old PC that just can't seem to keep up: we may have a FREE solution for you. Linux is a free, stable, and complete Operating System that doesn't have the issues that some of the most popular systems have.

Tucson Installfest arranged for April 2, 2011

We are glad to announce the UofA / AZ LoCo / PLUG Installfest at the U of A Computer Science Dept.
in the atrium of a building and floor to be announced shortly. We will be doing full installs and answering Open Source software questions from 10 am to 4 pm. Please RSVP if you are able to attend or need help with anything. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with us and to have fun meeting other open sourcer's.

AZ LoCo Now Has a Linikedin Page

I just created a linked in page for the Arizona Ubuntu LoCo team: (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=3014215&trk=myg_ugrp_ovr) in an attempt to make us more visible on the internet and, perhaps, make us easier to find for people needing/wanting our help. If you can think of other places where we can make our presence known, please let us know so we can make use of that info or create an entry for the team and give us the info so we can keep track of it.
